The pictures we just added are of our apartment, making bread, a young boys baptism and the elders that we have the privilege of working with.  It is wonderful to be serving and to be finding so many of the Lord's children here that have hearts as big as the world.  They are so humble here and willing to share with you all they have.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
We have just been told that we will be moving on Christmas night, we don't know where but we have to leave our apartment.  Life is so good and we are so blessed.

cruz del eje we are here!

Thank you fabulous family for your prayers and for your love!  We have been in Argentina for one week as of today.  We spent the first two nights in the mission home in Cordoba--- attended our first Zone Conference, and have met quite a few Elders and Sisters.  We have had the privilege of being with Elder Fenn and his wife a few times, in helping us purchase a car.  We have had trouble getting the internet set up, and find that as of yet Wydebeam does not work.  We have Yahoo, or Google;   We spent two days in Cordoba, Monday and Tuesday trying to purchase our car, and get all the necessary papers ready so we could drive away.  After a long Monday, and staying the evening in the Mission Home again, we finally arrived back to our area at midnight on Tuesday the 13th of December.  Today is our Jaxson's birthday and I was so hoping to send an e-mail to him but this will have to do.  We pray that all of you are well and happy, and I do thank you for your messages, and hope to open them all up as I keep working with the computer.  Cody, Koay, and Toah, we have so much more love and gratitude to you for the struggles you had in you mission and we had no idea, but know we are made with the same courage you were, so we know we can make it too.  Love Dad and Mom, Grandpa and Grandma----HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAXSON.

MTC

We have had a great week and have learned so much about the right way to be a missionary.  We have had terrific food, and some great firesides.  We have taught many members who have been our investigators.  One was a Spanish contact, and Dad did a terrific job.  Even thought I could not speak the language, the spirit in this mock discussion was awesome.  We found out that our contact was Janice Kapp Perry's husband.  We have had the chance to go to the Provo Temple, attend an Inter-national Sacrament Meeting, where two of the Sisters are headed to the Visitor's center in Mesa.  We do leave on Tuesday Morning at 6:00 a.m. from the MTC and leave Salt Lake at 9:40.  We have a lay over in Atlanta Georgia for 3 hours, and leave there around 8: p.m. We arrive in Buenos Aires at 8:00 a.m.  We don't know when we leave Buenos Aires for Cordoba, but the Mission Presisdent will pick us up on Wednesday.  We have been so blessed by this experience, and by the prayers and support of all of our family.  We love you so very much.  Love Dad and Mom

Count down for our great adventure

White shirts have been purchased; rain coats too!  New shoes for walking for the time of our life!
with the support of our children and grandchildren, we certainly feel blessed and are trying our best to do our part and be ready to serve.  Thanks to each of you and know we truly are blessed by our associations with one and all.
